Your wedding day should be a day of joy and celebration. Here at Macclesfield Team Ministry, we have ideal venues for your special day. We have an ancient building that can seat over 200 people, or smaller more intimate buildings, all of which can be decorated with flowers of your choice and are great for photographs for your wedding album. We offer a friendly service that is probably not as expensive as you think.
We can also offer a variety of music for your wedding, from traditional organ music with hymns, an excellent robed choir, modern worship songs, and even music from CDs for the signing of the register. You can even book the ringing of the church bells before and after your wedding. And all of that includes a memorable day when you will know God's blessing on your marriage and your future life together.
There are several stages in planning your wedding day with us, which would ideally include attending some services at one of our churches to get to know the people and the building.
The first stage is to complete the enquiry form. Once received our PA, Sue, will contact you. Your information will be kept, securely, only to assist us with this enquiry and any subsequent bookings you make.
Once the date is agreed, book on to our Marriage Preparation Course.
We are also happy to arrange services of thanksgiving and recommitment for a special anniversary.

If you do not live in one of our parishes, it may still be possible to be married at one of our churches – why not come and talk to us about it? You can take a look at the regulations for where you may be married by clicking here. If you are unsure of your nearest Church of England Church you can check this out using a postcode search here.
If you live in one of our parishes and have already decided to have your wedding elsewhere you will need your banns to be called here. Please read this page for more information and the procedure.
