Revd Martin Stephens

Martin has been Team Rector since moving to Macclesfield in September 2016.  He is mainly responsible for St Michael’s and St Peter’s, and is delighted to share this joy and privilege with many gifted and committed people. All his ordained life has been in one team or another, and he loves the benefits and challenges of working with others to help people experience and respond to the love of God. Martin is married to Catherine, they have 3 adult daughters and one son-in-law. Martin enjoys ‘pottering’, gardening, cinema and radio comedy.

Porsche McGarry

Porsche is the Clergy PA. She joined the team in May 2021 and is based at the Team Office in St Michael's Church. She enjoys living in Macclesfield with her husband Jake and two young children. In her spare time she enjoys the cinema, walks along the River Bollin and holidaying with her family.
